Hi, I’m Olivia Dinneen.
Teacher by calling, mom by heart, and passionate about helping kids thrive.
With 16 years of experience in education and a Master’s degree in Special Education, I’ve had the privilege of serving students in a variety of roles—including ASL Interpreter, Early Interventionist, Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and General Education Teacher.
I’ve taught in both public and private schools, and each step of the journey has strengthened my belief that teaching, encouraging, and extending grace to struggling learners is part of my God-given calling. I’m passionate about every subject I teach (though I’ll admit statistics gave me a run for my money!), and I’m dedicated to making learning a joyful, meaningful experience grounded in love.
As a mom of three children, ages 5 to 9, I understand the hopes and concerns that come with raising young learners. My mission is to partner with parents to support the whole child—academically, emotionally, and spiritually—because I believe every child is uniquely created by God, with a special purpose and divine potential.
My Approach
Abiding Minds was founded with a passion for education and a calling to use God-given gifts—teaching, mercy, and encouragement. I love connecting with students and providing personalized support.
As a Christ-centered tutoring service, Abiding Minds places Jesus at the heart of learning. Small group and individualized instruction help meet each student’s unique needs.
Prayer
Each session begins with prayer, inviting God’s wisdom into the process. As Matthew 19:26 says, “With God all things are possible.” Abiding Mind’s mission is to help students love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength while equipping them for success. Through prayer and individualized support, we help students overcome challenges and grow in faith.

Each child is uniquely created by God, and we’re here to walk alongside families—helping students grow in confidence, skill, and joy.
